Etherfuse is registered with the Unidad de Inteligencia Financiera (UIF), a financial intelligence body under Mexico’s Ministry of Finance. The country’s anti-money laundering (AML) laws classify crypto and related businesses as a “vulnerable activity”. Etherfuse is required to submit monthly AML reports to the UIF. 

Mexico has not passed legislation that addresses issuers of stablecoins or tokenized bond products. Thus, Etherfuse is not regulated and users rely exclusively on contractual protections outlined in the customer agreement.
